The dolls are made by a Family run company in Sri Lanka who have been making dolls for over 120 years, they are caring about both their products and the community they live in giving a percentage of all doll sales to the Viharamahadevi Child Development Centre.. an orphanage who feed, clothe, help educate and house dozens of girls in need.
There is no child or forced labour, all employees are treated like one of the family with great working conditions. Wages are above the government stipulated minimum with breakfast and lunch included. This is just a few of the great things about working with this company.
